| An adaptation of Crime and Punishment. Two very different characters, a wealthy doctor and a documentarian, lead quietly similar lives even though very little happens to them in common. The documentarians marriage is failing and he is falling for a beautiful and intelligent woman who wont fall for him even though she loves him. The doctors marriage is strong, though his mistress wont accept that their affair has ended and threatens to reveal the iindiscretions to his family. He takes drastic measures to prevent this, and despite his strong moral character and horror at what hes done, learns to accept his crimes. | ||||||||||||||||||||
